Taking away my hours

July 15th 2002

Blaaaaaaaaaaaaah I’m pissed off. My boss called me last night and told me not to come in today or tomorrow, basically taking HALF of my hours away from me this week, because her and Emily need to work some things out. I asked her if she was letting me go and she said no, but damn that pisses me off. I can’t afford this kind of shit.

Screw it, I’m looking for another job. A STABLE job.

Bought him his birthday presents today, July 25th, REMEMBER. Of course he’ll be on vacation in South Carolina anyways so he won’t see it till he gets back, but still.

I splurged a little today, bought me a new boombox type thing that actually has an MP3 player and can rewrite CD’s and shit. Nice.

Someone hire me, pleeeease.

I’ve calmed down

July 13th 2002

Okay, I’ve calmed down a bit. I’ve noticed it’s hard for me to stay angry. Which could be a good or bad thing.

I did some drumming tonight by myself, a great way to relieve stress. I also bought a new drum off ebay, which you can see here. It’s gorgeous, and HUGE, 24 inches tall. I look forward to beating away my stress on THAT one, let me tell you.

On another note, Feng Shui is a -great- thing. You should try it out, seriously.

Drumming is good for the Soul

July 13th 2002

Went drumming last night up at this Irish Moon Coffee House with some friends. I took my sister along too. We had a -lot- of fun. I swear drumming is good for the soul. But both of my drums were really too small for the type of drumming they were doing, so I’m investing in a much bigger one (I.E. waiting impatiently on ebay till the last minute). My sister played with the owners little girl Victoria, who is the same age. Apparently she was showing her some of the haunted houses on that street, which I thought was cute. My sister was scared though, so I gave her my pentacle to wear.

The owners are opening up a new age shop behind the coffee house. I told them if they needed someone to work it, to let me know. I mean compared to where I work now, they’d pay me more, and have more pagan oriented stuff anyways.

Mom just picked up my sister, for some odd reason she gave me her old wedding dress. I haven’t looked at it yet, I just don’t know why she’d give it to me.

Blah, some other stuff going on, I just don’t feel like getting into it right now, I need to go do something.

RPG’s

July 6th 2002

I’m not big into Roleplaying computer games. Never got into Everquest or anything like that. Only roleplaying I ever did was online in chatrooms or on MUD’s. But he convinced me to buy Warcraft III which came out on the 3rd. I have to say I am quite impressed. There is this race called the “Night Elves” that reminds me a lot of witchcraft. They are very naturey folks who even worship the moon goddess. They have dryads and stags and can build a home base without hurting the environment. It’s worth buying.

My sister has a little attitude I’m worried about, I guess all kids do, and she’s irish. But she better not think I’m going to put up with her giving -me- an attitude. She called up three times this morning with things like “Sissy, I’ll give you one minute to answer the phone.” “Sissy, what do you not love me anymore?” I mean I know she thinks she’s being funny, but it’s not. I was outside with my dad and she always thinks I’m on the computer. I called her back just now and told her to stop doing that. Her mother should be bringing her over in a few minutes. Just irritates me.

I plan to do a small ritual with her today, outside in the circle I’m making. It’s actually REALLY nice out, not all hot and death-like.
