Landlords

September 6th 2002

I have decided that I -despise- landlords. Granted the dude is like 90 fucking years old, but we have been without water since Tuesday, and he’s still fucking around and taking his grand old time getting it fixed. You just can’t make your renters wait this long for water. We have to do laundry, we have to shower, we have to DRINK, we have to water our animals. My father won’t let me say anything because over the years he’s been on back rent. So? I just gave the guy a check for rent, I can pay rent regularly, so fix our god damn water.

*takes a breath* Okay.

I worked from 8am till 6pm today. Nice. Wonder how many hours I’ll have in overtime. Overtime is what…anything over 40 hours? So it’d be $10 an hour for overtime, nice. They want me to work from 7am till….hrm 8pm on Monday, but I just don’t think I can handle that. I mean that’s 13 hours. And it would be in the same office I was in today, which is the most boring fucking job I have ever seen. No one goes to this branch. Like, ever. I ate pizza, played solitaire, listened to the radio, an chatted with another girl who was stuck there doing nothing for a few hours. That was my exact job from 8am till 6pm today. I don’t mind it, but damn, I was so bored. There were two cats being boarded though that I played with a little bit.

My main reason for not wanting to work 13 hours on Monday is because I want to spend some time with Ex #4. And he has most of the day free. But knowing him he’ll be gone most of the day, so I may just work. I haven’t decided.

I was going to have my sister today, but I had to say no because……we have no water. She wouldn’t be able to use the bathroom or anything, and that’s just not suitable. I feel bad though, I really wanted to see her and I know she really wanted to come over. *sigh*

Fucking landlords. What’s with that name anyway? Land Lord. Lord of the land? Now that’s Medieval if I ever saw it.

First paycheck today, only $200 because it was only for 4 days last week. Their pay periods are Fridays - Thursdays apparently. Stupid. Next weeks will be the same. But the week -after- will be hella big.

Have I mentioned to go visit Mitch? He’s a hottie.

And why has no one joined my clique? Are people too lazy to write a summary of what they think they did that kicked so much ass? I had a bunch of people say they were going to join, and I haven’t had one submission. Kinda depressing. Guess I’ll have to take it down.

The reason I didn’t join your clique is because I am not a woman. It looked like a woman-only club to me :((((!

  2. Crys Says:

Would you like me to remedy that? :)

  3. Pip Says:

Well I’m hoping you don’t turn me into a woman…

but if you meant changing your clique … :)
    i might join then!!

Mortgage and Home Owners Insurance Quotes and Comparisons

HSBC Insurance (Safeco) - HSBC seems to give quotes from several different agencies. The cheapest quote was from Safeco Insurance at $470 for an annual premium, which is $39/month. They priced the insurance for $202k to rebuild the house. However, looking at online reviews I’m a bit hesitant about bothering with them […]
