Inner Peace/Rainforest Cafe/Incompetant Doctor
So I’m excited.
This Saturday I’ll be taking my sister to some Rainforest Cafe for her 9th birthday. I’ve never been to one but they apparently make it look like a real rainforest. And I ADORE rainforests. I think she and I both will have a good time. I’m hoping my sister will take to nature as I have.
I’m also excited because my oldest internet friend, Candice, will be joining the Tawodi family. She is an amazing web designer and inspiring graphics artist. I’ll announce her when she’s up and ready.
An emergency came in to work today (Have you noticed I’m always having stories from work to tell?), a small puppy, probably a good 6 months old. Apparently the owners were giving it a bath, and they noticed some blood coming from its neck. So they bring it in, and the collar is embedded in the dogs neck! I mean come on people, it does not take a freaking genius to look over their pet once in a while. Or to even just LOOK at the animal. So we shave the hair around the neck, and I’m looking at this wound, and it’s like someone took a knife and just sliced it’s throat, it was -that- bad. So I was pissed. Not only at them, but Dr. Wiseman, who was the emergency doctor on call tonight.
I swear, Dr. Wiseman is the most incompetant doctor ever. All he did, instead of cleaning the hair out of the wound and stitching it up, is put some Betadine on it and wrap it up. Okay, so you have a big gash in your neck near your juggular, would you just bandage it up, or would you stitch it up? Doesn’t take a doctor to realize that now does it?
Things are going well. My MUD is going well, Ex #4 and I actually started playing another MUD together and having a blast on it. I’m starting to feel that inner peace

Well, the techs and the receptionists wanted to report them to the ASPCA, but we have to have a Doctors support to do that since he’s the one that did the initial evaluation (or some stupid shit like that). And all he said was “Oh don’t be so hard on the people.” Jerk.
As for pictures, hrm, good idea, I’ll see what I can do

I use to love the Rainforest Cafe when I lived in Chicago. It’s really neat in there. Food is good too. I hope you have a great time.
