Selling the Druids some Bibles

April 8th 2003

I had fun at the Druids Grove on Sunday, except that we broke down there for a while. Luckily someone was heading towards Pennsylvania so they were able to give us a ride home. One of the highlights of the evening was presenting a $240 gift certificate to one of the senior Druids for a celtic armband tattoo for her birthday, and also when some Christians stopped by trying to sell bibles. They were in for quite a shock when we told them we were a druidic church.

I’ve been doing a lot of spring cleaning lately. I like the feeling I get after I’m done cleaning, that whole Feng Shui energy seems so much…..I dunno…..fresh?

I’ve been planning my camping trip for Beltane and the Fairie Festival that weekend. I plan to take my sister along for the entire weekend so I’ll have her all to myself. I’m really excited, I just hope I don’t forget anything important. I miss camping, I haven’t done it in years, and being around so many pagans, it will truly be spiritual. Anyone have any camping tips? :)

    camping tips:

    bring your own toliet paper

make sure you bring enough clothing and underwear, make sure to bring 1-2 EXTRA outfits incase you somehow destroy one heh

prepare for the weather, check DAILY the forecast until the day you leave

bring enough water, you can never have too much water oh and fruit, fruit is good to make sure you do not drop so low in blood sugar and pass out just when they have some cool drumming going on ahha

I hope that I was helpful somewhat!

The Druid Podcast

I’m thinking about writing up my issues with this, but until then a synopsis.
Druids have Equinox Ritual. (I happen to be a member of this organization)
Christians go “undercover” and record the ritual without the Druids knowledge or consent. These include Kirk Cameron from “Growing Pains.”
Christians put recording up on website as a podcast, being […]
