Coffee House
Went out to the coffee house last night, had a decent time overall. Bought a new celtic cloak pin for when Sati is able to finish my cloak. Then hopefully we can start on my other one lol. Poor Sati. I realized on Wednesday when we went to lay out the fabric that I am no seamstress. I can gut and skin a deer, I can cook, and I can build, but I feel very incompetent when it comes to sewing.
I’m a little annoyed though. I used to go to the coffee house all the time and got a long with the owner up until that incident where he pretty much banished all pagans from the store in order to save his business. Yet he’s pagan. He used to give me discounts, and we’d all hang out at his house, or enjoy the hottub.
But last night it’s like I was a complete stranger. No hello, no nothing. He was probably too anxious to participate in some orgy next door. Fine fine. I don’t think I’d want to be friends with shallow people anyway.
I do miss going up there though, I love shopping there, I love the food, and I love some of the employees. So I may go more often.
I’ve been feeling very out of shape lately. I need to get up the motivation to do some sort of exercise everyday, but it’s rather difficult.
I sent my resume to my friend Virginia today. She works for Lockeed Martin and she says I have a decent chance at a temp job there. One can only hope.
I’m feeling very blah today. I hope this campout next weekend for Samhain proves to be very cleansing.
