Gas Leak

March 28th 2004

The past few days there has been this rather unpleasant smell eminating throughout my house. I figured that my cat had caught a mouse and left it somewhere. It’s been close to gagging me. We’ve been lighting candles and incense to help break smell, but it was still pretty bad.

Come to find out we had a gas leak in our cooking stove and all of our propane that was to last us until the end of April had been leaking out this entire time. So yeeeeeah, that’s pretty damn scary, especially since we were lighting shit everywhere.

So no hot water or cooking till Monday.

Blanket of Sunshine

March 27th 2004

Wow was yesterday gorgeous. I worked the morning shift so I was determined to go out and enjoy the sun for a change. I made up my mind that I’d take a nap in the hammock with My Son. Just swaying between two trees with a blanket of sunshine, without a care in the world. Waking up to see instead, a ceiling of blue and towering trees dancing around you like a bonfire.

There’s a big spring ritual happening tonight that I won’t be able to go to, and I’m kicking myself for forgetting which weekend it was on. It’s supposed to be really unique.

I think I’ve decided to dye my hair brown with lots of blonde streaks, and some green somewhere. Or maybe green and blonde streaks? I just want something different.

Things are kinda up and down for me right now. I may get into it more later in a restricted entry.

Screwing dog….

March 22nd 2004

So we’ve had this lady come in to work the past few weeks, because her dog is being treated (I forget what for). And she said apparently she found some condoms in her pet sitters room? Or a room in her house? Or something like that. And she thinks that her pet sitter was screwing her dog.

I tell you, we get some crazy people at work.

Vinnie called today (yay!), and said he wanted to see if we had any openings at work because he might be interested in working with Coryn and myself cause we’re a bunch of crazy people. He also said he might be able to go out for drinks with us a few nights a week after work. I still wish we had time to play guitar more though.

Ostara Ritual

March 20th 2004

Oof, I feel rough. Been kinda sick the past few days, nothing serious, sniffles mostly. Little bit of a sore throat today. I’m going to the Druid Grove’s Ostara ritual today, gonna have to hop myself up on some DayQuil.

Also twisted my ankle at work the other day so it’s all swollen and sore.

I’m just a bundle of joy today :)

Work, Vinnie, Stephs Puppy

March 18th 2004

So apparently the entire city of Reisterstown (where I work) and a few surrounding areas like Pikesville and Owings Mills decided to have a water pipe break today, meaning the entire city had NO WATER. Nice huh? Had to go into work at 12, didn’t get out until 9pm, and I had to piss like a racehorse. It was torture. No idea when it’ll get turned back on.

Work was okay, uneventful otherwise. Tomorrow they’re having a surprise baby shower for one of the Doctors so I’ll probably go to that (even though it’s my day off) and pick up my paycheck. Hopefully I’ll get to see Vinnie tomorrow at his work, when I go out to lunch.

Friday I hope to spend the day with Vinnie writing music. IF he shows up, he has a tendancy not to. And Saturday should be a day at the Druid Grove.

My cousin Steph was over the other day with her new puppy. Pictures to follow:

A Test

So I’ve decided to make this a test. Mostly a test on my own willpower, but also my abililty to trust people. I realize I hardly trust anyone, and with good reason. But how do I ever expect to have a lasting relationship if I can’t trust someone? I don’t even […]
