Camping

April 30th 2004

Packing up and getting ready to head out to Ed’s Farms for the Fairie Festival for the weekend. Had to get up at 4am to do a quick shift at work, so I’m already exhausted. Need to find a rock to curl up under and take a nap.

April 29th 2004

My cousin Steph just found out her husband is going to be stationed in Germany. So that’s where she’s moving. And here I thought I’d get to visit her somewhat often.

Psh. If you decide to stay there permanently Steph. I’ll kill you.

President and 911 Committee

April 29th 2004

Jesus the president is an idiot.

You purr ‘ha ha he’s an idiot’

You purr ‘The discussion with the 911 committee was…….it was uh……it was important’

You purr ‘And I’m glad we had this discussion…..it was a good discussion’

Pip snickers softly.

You purr ‘We talked about many different things…..’

You purr ‘No shit’

Pip cackles insanely!

You purr ‘We discussed a lot of things Terry’

You purr ‘A lot of subjects’

You purr ‘It was a very cordial conversation’

You purr ‘I was impressed by the questions’

You purr ‘It helped them understand how I think and how I run the white house’

You snicker softly.

You purr ‘We answered all their questions’

You purr ‘I came away good about the session’

You purr ‘Because I wanted them to know, how I said strategy’

You purr ‘The vice president answered all their questions’

You purr ‘aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ha ha fdksaljfkl;’

You purr ‘He just got snippy with reporters’

Pip snickers softly.

You purr ‘People need to know we’re working, we, the government, on all levels, we’re
working long hours, to protect America the best we can’

You purr ‘Long hours’

You purr ‘"We are vulnerable. Thank you all."’

You purr ‘BRAVO!’

Pip says ‘thats right i work 8-4 every day’

Pip says ‘to protect this country’

You purr ‘SOMETIMES I STAY TILL 5!’

Pip snickers softly.

Domain Renewal, Cat Euthanasia, Poker Night

April 29th 2004

Silly me forgot to renew my domain, so it was down for a day.

I’ve been enjoying this digital camera a bit too much. I’ll probably have a number of ridiculous entries with pictures of stuff that I might think is funny or interesting, yet no one else will. But that’s too bad. I may just have to borrow it more often if Sati will let me.

I took it with me today just to get a few pictures of where I work for my journal. And a gentlemen came in as an appointment because his cat keeps bleeding from it’s nose. Apparently it had cancer in it’s nose. The owner had a 13 year old daughter at home that was absolutely attached to the cat. But he had to put it down in order to prevent it from suffering.

I mentioned the camera when I put him back into Ex #1am room, and I asked if he wanted me to email him a picture of the cat for his daughter. So that’s what I did. The poor thing.

Had a poker night at Andy’s tonight with Phil, Sherry, Erin, Andy, myself, and like 5 other people I didn’t know very well (nor do I really want to, luckily they left early). Took two videos of us being retards.

Video One and Video Two.

Finances are a bit tight this week, so that’s got me down. A little concerned about the Beltane campout this weekend. Apparently a group of Christians may show up and “pray for us.” I seriously don’t know why they can’t just leave us alone. It’s private property, let us worship in peace.

Memory of me?

April 27th 2004

Post a memory of me in the comments. It can be anything you want.

Then - post this to your journal and see what people remember about you.

It could be any type of memory. Good or bad…(and I expect even the people who don’t have journals to answer *coughPipBorlakcough*)

Stolen from the wonderful Stacey.

Gone for good

April 27th 2004

Well, I told Jeff that I just can’t talk to him anymore. It’s causing too much heartache and pain. Who would have thought it would be so hard to do. After all he’s put me through, all of the horrible HORRIBLE things he’s done to me. I’m still devastated.

Maybe I hoped he would eventually figure out what he’s missing out on. That maybe he’d stop doing all of the things that have been forcing me to suffer for the past two years.

I can’t even think of the words to describe how I feel right now. Like I’m falling and the only padding is the lifeless tears that are dripping from my face. That’s a bad description. The problem is there are no words. Just feelings.

It’s hard to accept that it’s permanently over. Maybe I was hoping he’d straighten up. Fool I was.

The only way I feel as if I can cope with this is to block him out completely. He doesn’t want this, but I don’t know if I can do anything else. It just hurts to talk to him anymore. He thinks we can just be friends, but everytime I talk to him it’s just pain. Nothing but pain. A tornado of old feelings and frustration.

Why couldn’t you just be the same as you used to be? Why did you make so many promises and break all of them? Why wasn’t I good enough to be treated decent?

Does anyone know? Please tell me.

I only pray that my friends can keep me distracted for a while.

His dead and wilted dozen roses are sitting here next to me. How fitting.

My father worked in concrete for 4o years. It’s all he’s done since he was a teenager. He’s worked for various companies, even started up his own company which dissolved when my mother left him. It did very well for itself. When I was little we weren’t dirt poor, but poor […]
