Impersonator Caught
Erg, well the girl who was trying to impersonate me, IMed me today. Coincidently, I took screenshots of the sites where she mentioned she was me, just so I have them. It doesn’t really bother me that much, it just seems kinda……pointless. Anyway, the conversation:

Crys (8:29:21 PM): It seems a bit odd to me that if someone knew your password, that they would go around and volunteer to a site and talk with people in a non offensive manner.

Crys (8:42:21 PM): I hate to break it to you, but I honestly don’t believe a word you say. Not to sound harsh, but it says plain as day on the site you claim to work for, that you owned review-me. The forum you posted on, where you were claiming to be me, also states that you work at charm-bracelet, and that you owned pick-me and used to run the review-me site. I really don’t appreciate being lied to. If you had just apologized for attempting to pretend you were me, this wouldn’t have even been an issue.

- She claimed she was hacked, then admitted it was her.
- She changed her journal entry on charm-bracelet.org to remove the reference where she claimed to be me
- She says she didn’t even know of the site, but wanted me to tell Shadow and Dru hi and that pick-me really is a good site
- She still claims to have been staffed there?

Omg… that was one of the more amusing things I’ve read concerning internet “fraud” in awhile. She’s probably some 11 year old kid who has no life. Hahaha.

I agree… looks like a pretty young girl, pretty clueless about how one should conduct oneself online… At least she seems fairly harmless–doesn’t know how to forge email headers and the like.
