Dedicant’s Program
Grove related ramblings below, only CLG people will probably understand:
I think I really need to start focusing on the ?r nDra?ocht F?in dedicant’s program. I don’t want to rush myself to finish it, but I do want to get it finished by (what was it, Samhain we made our dedications?).
I really do love CedarLight Grove a lot. I don’t ever want it to go away. But I’ve noticed that a lot of the Grove depends on Will and Caryn (Ex Senior Druid and Current Senior Druid). A few people step up now and again to write liturgy for the rituals and actually participate in the rituals, but on the whole, at least to me, it feels like Will and Caryn.
There are no complaints here, obviously. But I worry about what will happen to the Grove when they step down, or even worse (and I’m praying that neither happen ANYtime soon). Who is really going to step up and keep the Grove going?
I know for a fact Sati will. But I don’t know if that many people in the younger generation would be willing to step up and take that kind of responsibility. And it’s kind of a sad thought when you think about it. I’d really like to help as much as I can, both financially and spiritually.
I think the archiving I’ve been doing of past rituals and information on the CLG website, along with completing the dedicant’s program will be good first steps.
And quite honestly, I don’t know how Caryn puts up with as much bullshit from some of these people as she does. May whoever have mercy on their souls should they ever have to run to Sati to bitch and complain.
