Expression Engine

May 19th 2004

I’m one of the lucky people that gets a free copy of Expression Engine for switching from Movable Type. This baby costs $150 for non-commercial use, so it’s quite a gift!

I’m still trying to figure out whether that or WordPress would be better. Or if I just want to stick with my current version of Movable Type (which I doubt I’ll do).

Decisions decisions. Any advice?

I’m liking wordpress so far. I’ve just been doing test entries and coding, figuring out the php. EE might be good, though. Haven’t used it or seen any sites run on it.

I switched my weblogs over from Movable Type to WordPress, after they [MT] unveiled the new pricing scheme.

Thus far I am enjoying WP, but it has been a few years since I worked with PHP.
