Car sickness and training in Annapolis

July 13th 2004

First day of training in Annapolis = Okay. Slightly boring, didn’t learn as much as I would have liked. The CSR there said that maybe Thursday and Friday we’ll just train here in Westminster where it’s not so busy and she can actually sit down with me.

Having access to a modern car that can do over 100 miles per hour + me = dangerous. But fun. I don’t know how many times I squealed wheels by accident.

I also get car sick. Not like the usual car sickness though. I think because I’m used to large trucks that are not only loud, but let lots of different fumes through and don’t have air conditioning, that quiet cars with no fumes actually make me dizzy and sick.

This other office is also right next to BWI (and I mean right next door), and while driving to lunch, a huge HUGE plane went right over the car. Was quite wicked.
