Proud to be an American

I can’t tell you how proud I am to live in a country that’ll not only barely put my father on disability for about a grand a month, but then not give him any health insurance unless it’s $350 a month, and then raise it $180 so that it’s over $500 a month, and expect him to be able to live on that.

    same here. My dad is a veteran of the Army (vietnam) and he has no health insurance, and gets 900 bucks for disability. Heart problems. And his meds for his heart cost 800 bucks a month. Go figure.
