Holiday Gifts

November 2nd 2004

Been starting my holiday shopping. I do most of it online anymore cause I can usually find some pretty unique stuff that I wouldn’t think of normally. Anything to do with John Wayne and Elvis or Native Americans is perfect for my dad. I think my sister is going to be a little more difficult this year. And Steph, you’re just going to have to tell me what you need, cause I have no clue what the heck you’re doing over there in Germany.

Actually had my first customer complaint about me today. A customer that we’ve had trouble scheduling her service because the technician doesn’t pay attention when I put in the notes “ONLY DO OUTSIDE.” The branch manager told me that the customer said when I spoke with her and she told me she wanted to cancel her service, that I apparently told her “Do what ya gotta do.” But then he said that he knows I’m a sweetheart on the phone, and to just keep doing what I do because he really appreciates the work that I do. I had to laugh though.

Sati and I have decided that for lunch, we’re going to gorge on Arby’s roast beef sandwiches. They are having a special of 5 for $5. Own.

I have to say, being my third year in a row going, and only being to Wellspring once, Trillium is definitely my favorite gathering. I think Chronarchy put it best that Trillium is more of a close-knit family gathering, while Wellspring […]
