Registering Mix-up

Well I think I figured out why I wasn’t able to vote. Everthing about me is still registered as my maiden name. I never changed it when I got married, but my license and all that are under my married name.

Every year when I do taxes I have to submit them under my maiden name, even though that hasn’t been my name since 1998. It confuses a lot of people and probably fucks up a lot of stuff, but I’m stubborn. I never wanted to change it because I know I’ll be going back to my maiden name soon anyway.
