Made a very hard decision last night. And now I think things are more confusing than ever. And now I’m trying to drown myself in depressing music. Aren’t I silly.
Decided not to worry about cards or presents or anything like that for my friends until after christmas. My mind is about to explode with all the waves of complications going on right now. I don’t need the stress of the holidays to be another. So your cards will be late, your presents will be late, but I love you all.
The office is having an ‘official office party’ today at work, which will consist of a simple secret santa gift exchange (of which I still have to wrap), and I guess, just hanging around the office. Who knows.
Tomorrow is another less secular and hopefully more entertaining party at my bosses house. I’ve decided to make homemade cheese balls for both.
On a side note: I downloaded “Imagine” by A Perfect Circle at the request of my beloved Luke (I think I had it before but it disappeared). And I guess I had never heard the Beatles original version, or didn’t pay attention to it, or whatever. But I just now got the Forrest Gump reference. Har.
I wish more than anything that I was lost in the mountains of Colorado right now.

8 degrees out. I can’t see out my bedroom window because of the frost.

Decorated our christmas/yule tree yesterday with my sister. Had fun putting together our village garden:

Had a wonderful time, wonderful ritual. Sang holiday songs for a lot of the different liturgy parts, which was interesting. We dressed up and wore crowns and holly (I thought I looked cute as a button).
My dad actually sat in on the ritual, which was interesting. He’s never been exposed to this sort of thing really. He grew up methodist, and we had a strong native american influence in our family, but never the actual ritual and worshipping of deities. So I was a bit worried, but he said he enjoyed himself.
Afterwards we feasted on Alison’s stew, and some wonderful hot chocolate liquor (dunno what Tim put in it, but damn it was good).
Tim (I hope that’s his name) said the nicest thing to me during ritual, when I commented on how I was glad everyone was able to come out to see my little slice of heaven. He said “I’ve seen a lot of larger homes with more stuff inside them, but none of them came close to feeling like home as yours.”
So Sati is starting a Grove up here. No clue what’s going to happen there. It’ll be a lot closer to me. I just wish things were like they were a year ago at CedarLight. And I don’t really want to abandon them. I think I’m slowly starting to realize that Druid style of ritual isn’t really for me. I still want to learn it until I’m comfortable, but it’s not -my- tradition. It’s not my style. I’ve always been more into the Native American Spirituality, and that’s where I’d like to end up. I think next I’d like to study some Norse traditions.
Anyway, so new Grove, old Grove. Want to be a part of both, know I won’t be able to. Something to think about.
And my new opened bottle of jack daniels is sitting here in it’s luscious amber glory. It’s suckling sweet fire just tempting me.

Don’t know what everyone is bringing foodwise for tonight. I don’t really have much here, lotsa cookies and a gallon of cider.
Not really worried about ritual supplies, but if you guys want to bring different types of food that’d be great.
And park in the grass by the tractor tire, can’t fit everyone in the driveway ![]()
Don’t mind if I’m still cleaning by the time you get here. See you guys in a bit.

Things are turning out lovely.
Alex gave me money to put into the account, plus today is payday. I also received a $71 refund check from Sears for overpaying on my account. Going to give that to my father to use for shopping. He also did a side job and got $150 for that to do some shopping.
So money is -okay- right now. I still have to get something for my sister and I need to find my buckeye recipe to send those out to some of my out of state friends (sorry they may be late).
I’m picking up my sister tonight, she’s spending the weekend with me. Going to have her help me clean tomorrow to prepare for this Yule ritual tomorrow night. Lots to do and not quite sure how to do it all ![]()
If you need directions to my place for the ritual, email me, I know Tina does, I’ll get them to you ASAP.
Picking up our christmas tree tomorrow, no clue what the fuck I’m going to do with this big ass tv that’s now sitting in the middle of our living room. Dad has it rearranged so that I can’t put it in my room, so it’s just going to sit there.
Got a cute gift from a co-worker today. A calendar of interesting facts and offbeat information.
Two office parties next week. Witan meeting and Grove Elections on Sunday. Really want to smack some people at the Grove, don’t really care who I offend anymore.
What happened to December!?
