Good news

January 7th 2005

Well, the MRI was clear. She wasn’t allowed to eat for 24 hours, so she was pretty starving from what I hear. They are keeping her overnight again just to be sure everything is okay. So she should be sent home tomorrow.

My boss heard me calling the hospitals when I got into work this morning. He called me into his office and asked if everything was okay, to which I replied in tears :P I felt silly but it also felt nice to have a boss that cares. He made a few phone calls to some regional employees who he knew had relatives that worked at Shock Trauma to see if he could get me any updates, which was hella nice of him.

Going to stop by and see her tomorrow hopefully, soon as I find out when she’s home. Next weekend I’ll have her to myself, not sure what we’re going to do yet. I might take her to the Grove on Sunday.

I appreciate everyone’s comments on here and livejournal, as well as the emails, IM’s, prayers from the Grove and my friends. You guys are amazing.
