Convert .mp3 to RealPlayer

February 19th 2005

Well, the pain in the butt part about using Real Producer is that it converts .wav files to .rm files. I have a program called MP3 to WAV converter that I downloaded free off the internet which converts my .mp3’s to wav files.

Once you have the .wav file open up Real Producer.
A window may pop up that says: Chose Recording Wizard. We’ll be using Record from File.

Then it will go through this process of choosing and naming the file.
First you pick the .wav file to be converted.

When you get to File Type: just user Surestream
As for target audience, I’ve always used 56k cause some people DO still use modems :)
Audio format, for music I just choose Music.
And then you choose what to call the .rm file

Once done, click the START button at the bottom left of the Real Producer screen

It’ll start converting the file to .rm, once finished you can upload it to your server. Now comes the silly part.

Open up a new .txt file and type in the URL of the .rm file. Like mine would be: http://tawodi.org/sunspirit.rm.

Save the file as whatever name you want to call the music file and then .rpm at the end. So it would be like: music.rpm

The script you use is:

CONTROLS="PlayButton" AUTOSTART="false" VOLUME="100%" WIDTH="42" HEIGHT="15"

CONSOLE="MYCONSOLE1" style="background-color: rgb(128,0,0); color: rgb(255,0,0)">

To make it play automatically, change autostart to true instead of false.

Loonatics

February 18th 2005

Loonatics has to be the most retarded thing I’ve ever seen. Why would you even want to mess with the classic looney tune characters. How much money have you made off of them now? Why would you think these would even compare?

From left to right: Some chick bunny, Daffy, Bugs, Wylie Coyote, Roadrunner, and Taz.

It’s just not right.

Money

February 18th 2005

I wish I could put my father on my health insurance. Him paying $500 a month on crappy insurance and then having to pay for prescriptions is just ridiculous. How is anyone supposed to survive on that? I’m forking out $500 this week just to cover everything.

I’m going to have to look at my expenses again I think. I had cut them down quite a bit. I’ve spent $93 on gas so far this month, even short distances are costing me a fortune. I’d really like to look into getting a new car. But where am I going to get the money for that?

I think I’m going to look into a possible second job.
