Life in general

March 24th 2005

It’s been a pretty rough week. A lot of emotional downs that I am trying to recover from.

A spring ritual on Saturday at the Grove, it was very lovely. We had a professional photographer there taking photos for a book he is doing called “Those seeking the spiritual.” I’ll be glad to start nursing my spiritual side again, as it appears I’ve lost sight of a lot of things that were important to me.

Sunday my sister came over for a while. She confiscated several items of fairie statuettes and sailor moon memorabilia that I was throwing out. I was also able to take a picture of her dressed up somewhat amazon-esque. I also uploaded piece of a video from when she was a year old (I would be 15), which is quite adorable.

Michael and I are going through some ups and downs. It worries me to a point, but the more I resist any changes to our relationship, the more complicated things are going to be. So I am trying to be loyal and patient. I do love him dearly, and am willing to work hard for him.

I’m attempting to watch my food intake, as well as start up some regular hiking. I actually want to create a small altar in the woods during one of my hikes, and use it for meditational purposes. I’ll try to take some pictures as available.

Work is going well, I expected it to be a lot worse for the spring season, but it’s still early yet.

Some good things about today: My boss telling me I smelled really good. Michael telling me he loves me. Myk being there for me through thick and thin. Kiim and Ron always being supportive of me at work. My boss encouraging me to get my mustang.

Holiday cheer

You know, for being unemployed, I sure have a lot of work to do. Mostly web projects and maintaining them. I don’t mind though, it helps prevent boredom.
It snowed quite a bit last night in addition to yesterday morning. It’s been quite a while since we’ve had this much snow this early. […]
