Secretary Day?!

April 27th 2005

So today is Administrative Professionals Day. Last week the other office admin and I put out a fake gag memo with appreciative gift ideas (like mustangs, a day off with pay, etc). But so far today we’ve gotten a box of chocolate from a sales guy, two mustang horse figurines (ha ha) from a sales guy, $30 for lunch from our big boss, and a bouquet of flowers each from the big bosses.

Now my desk smells like flowers.

Wee

April 13th 2005

Wow today is a great day. My co-workers surprised me with a delicious cake and everyone has been sending me e-mails and wishing me happy birthday.

Then the big boss tells me that the Vice President of Service for our company is sending our Regional Specialist tomorrow because our branch has the -highest- problem resolution score in the entire -region-. This is a great thing because it makes all of the office staff who have been helping to take care of problems and the technicians for working with me and taking care of customers, look good. And here I was worried that I wasn’t doing very well as the only Customer Service Rep because of all the people calling in.

It’s turning out to be a good birthday afterall :)

$2.15 unleaded

April 12th 2005

Hrm, maybe I should reconsider the mustang and go for a hybrid. I really don’t want to, I really have my heart set on the mustang.

I might do some research on some fuel alternatives though. Got any ideas?

Cat

April 12th 2005

My friend and hostee Cat is moving to her own domain and made me this beautiful gift for hosting her. Apparently she also got me a gift from my wishlist, which is hella sweet. Thanks for everything doll, and let me know if you need any help with anything.

My Tarot Card

My Tarot Card:

I am Strength
Strength represents patience and compassion. Getting angry is easy when events turn sour, but dealing calmly with frustration takes great strength. So does accepting others and forgiving mistakes. We need strength to mold situations softly. The Chariot controls through mastery and authority. Card 8 is more subtle, even loving. Notice how […]
