The Balloons

July 19th 2005

So the prank wasn’t as much of a success as my previous one, but it was still cute none the less. Our original intention was to take a sheet or something similar and block off the door of the office about as tall as to our heads. We would then take the time to pump up and fill the office to the rim of this sheet with balloons. We would then close the office door and remove the sheet at the same time, so when it opens, an overflow of balloons engulfs the culprit.

We had no where near as many balloons, but it was all last minute. I have complete faith we could have pulled off the prank correctly if we had the time alotted.

But we had enough to be amusing, though I didn’t have my camera. I think my boss took some pictures with hers so hopefully I can get a copy.

Today at work we had some very cute and very charming guys from the corporate office in Memphis come in to install this new state of the art phone system. We were all pretty nervous at first to have corporate employees there, because you usually have to act all prim and proper. But fortunately these guys were pretty laid back, and we all had balloon battles and taped tacks and paperclips to the end of rulers and whacked at the balloons for a while to pop them.

I look forward to being able to spend some time with them tomorrow before they have to fly back to Memphis. Should prove to be an interesting day again.

That’s it.

I’ve had it. I can’t deal with my co-workers any longer. New Job search is commencing. Found a good one that is ideal for me but it’s in D.C. Will still check into it though.
