Dads Leg

September 10th 2005

Dad went to the doctor yesterday. One of the ulcers is healed completely, the large one is about halfway healed, they appear to be doing very nicely. I’m very happy :). He’s also been trying something his doctor told him to for his diabetes, which has been helping a lot. When eating foods like french fries or something, to take a shot of apple vinegar right before, and it’ll help keep his blood sugar low. They also suggested taking a shot of vinegar everyday, and his sugar has been the lowest it’s been in a long time.

Been keeping bags of ice in the fridge so we can have semi-cold stuff. Seems to be working out alright. I priced a fridge at about $600 in case this timer part doesn’t work on Monday.

My uncle is trying to hook me up with this mechanic at a Ford Dealership in Baltimore that should be able to hook me up with buying a car. I guess we’ll see, I’m going to try to contact him today. I’m anxious to start going to the Grove more often.
