Musicians and Broncos, my two favorite things

September 12th 2005

I had a semi-normal dream last night. One that involved you Laurie Ann, which was kinda interesting :) You and I still need to get together sometime. When I get a decent car anyway.

From what I can remember, you and a guitar player you knew, had visited me at my work. Work was slow so we were sitting around discussing music. I was messing around on the guitar while we talked, and I invited you and the guy to a ritual at the Grove. I think the guitar player was a little weirded about the whole thing, but you seemed relaxed and really into it. Eventually when I started drumming, the guy chilled out a little. After ritual we all discussed making music together, and then the phone rang and I woke up :P Not a very elaborate dream.

A friend of my fathers is giving us a 1984 bronco for free. Not that we need more ratty ass vehicles right now, we’ve already got two broken down vehicles out back, my bronco, my dads f-150, and my dads cadillac. But I’d rather throw out one of the broken down vehicles and take this new bronco in and fix it up too. I love broncos, what can I say :P My dad is going to check it out today, see if it’s salvagable, what kind of shape it’s in, etc. Apparently it has a 351 Windsor in it, which is orignally what I wanted to get in my bronco, but I stuck with the modified instead.

My dad mentioned fixing up the broken down oldsmobile and selling the cadillac. I kinda like the cadillac, but it’s probably for the best. EIther way we can get a little cash from one of them.

Dad’s Birthday and Finances

Afterwards, we found out the piece […]
