Clusterfucks and mustangs
All hail clusterfucks at work.
Database across the nation is down. Our only termite tech called out sick and now my managers and sales people are scrambling around to get stuff together to go do the termite jobs today themselves. My service manager is off today and we can’t get ahold of him for this particular emergency.
Did I mention I took off tomorrow? Huzzah to 3 day weekends. Going to spend a majority of my weekend up at Highland Farms for their Samhain campout. Lotta drumming, lotta bonfire. Hopefully I can get my headers on before I leave so I’m not quite as loud when I’m 4-wheeling it up the hill there.
Termite inspection tomorrow morning. Not really looking forward to that, but I told Dan I’d cook him breakfast when he came over. Will have to scramble to clean today when I get home.
So during my adventure to buy my mustang in September, I had applied to several financing companies to get auto financing for the $8k. I was turned down by all, Capital One Auto Financing more importantly. Even though I had a credit card through them already, and have never been late on a payment.
Define: amusing. I received a letter form Capital One Auto Financing this week, saying that I am now pre-approved for auto financing.
Where were you two months ago when the mustang I WANTED was available?!
I suppose it’s a good thing I didn’t get approved then. With all the financial clusterfuck I’m in right now with my dads medical bills, the broncos breaking down, and now needing termite treatment done to the house. Not to mention Christmas. Which I have yet to do any shopping for.
Perhaps after the holidays.
