Tipi

December 10th 2005

So I’ve decided I’m going to build a tipi. It will probably take me a while to gather the materials I need, but I’m going to build one. Sure it would probably be easy to buy a kit, wrap some canvas around it, and call it a day, but it’s not the same.

I’ll keep pictures of my progress, if I ever get my camera back from the shop.

My uncle had a tipi… it was huge! :) However, I don’t think he made his on his own… but it was fascinating, anyway. ;) He would use it often, mainly up north in the state land… Our cats used to LOVE to climb it… ;)

Anyway… I’ve been reading through your blog, and I’ve enjoyed myself… you express yourself well, and I admire you for what you do for your father. :)

I also checked out the link for tumble weed homes… they are adorable! I would LOVE to live in one of those… maybe when I get older, and the kids fly out of the roost… eh? ;)

    Thanx for a nice visit.

    *hugs*
