So I’ve decided I’m going to build a tipi. It will probably take me a while to gather the materials I need, but I’m going to build one. Sure it would probably be easy to buy a kit, wrap some canvas around it, and call it a day, but it’s not the same.
I’ll keep pictures of my progress, if I ever get my camera back from the shop.

My uncle had a tipi… it was huge!
However, I don’t think he made his on his own… but it was fascinating, anyway. 
He would use it often, mainly up north in the state land… Our cats used to LOVE to climb it… 
Anyway… I’ve been reading through your blog, and I’ve enjoyed myself… you express yourself well, and I admire you for what you do for your father.
I also checked out the link for tumble weed homes… they are adorable! I would LOVE to live in one of those… maybe when I get older, and the kids fly out of the roost… eh?
