Customer Service
Every day I work here, I become more and more convinced that the “Customer is always right” policy is complete and utter bullshit. And I’m so goddamn hard-headed that when customers argue with me on whether or not they signed their fucking contract, when it’s sitting here right in front of me with their signature, that it starts to be come principle. I just can’t let it go for the sake of pleasing the customer, because the customer is a fucking moron.
And it’s not just signing contracts, people just don’t understand what they’ve signed up for when it’s sitting right there in front of them. They feel that the world revolves around them and their problems and demand not only same day service, but service right -now-. And when people start making ridiculous demands of me, I start to get snarky. Not necessarily on the phone, because I do want to keep my job. But I will do everything my power to make sure that you do not get what you are screaming in my ear that you want.
I will admit, when customers are generally nice and calm about their situations, I will be more lenient. If a customer finds out their contract automatically renewed and they owe a balance, I might be nice enough to remove it, even though they signed a contract stating that it will renew unless they call to cancel. But to the gentleman that called last month screaming at the top of his lungs that he WILL NOT pay his balance? Yeah. Fuck you buddy. Take your signed contract and shove it up your ass.
Perhaps customer service is not my forte.
So please, for the sake of all hard-headed customer service representative around the world. Read the damn paperwork before you sign it.

During Christmas I had a customer make me cry because she was screaming at me about a late fee she had that she didn’t want to pay. I didn’t give her the satisfaction of crying in front of her. I calmly waited until 10 minutes after she left. Stupid bitch. She wasn’t screaming about the company I work for in general she started making comments about me personally. So as far as I am concerned customer service can bite my butt when it comes to people like that. In fact I would be more inclined not to help her with anything ever again. She came back a few weeks later and was asking me about something else I can’t remember what it was. I just said “Huh?” “I’m sorry I have no idea where that is, its my first day.” And walked away. I HATE STUPID PEOPLE!
