Bed-ridden

February 6th 2006

I’ve been bed-ridden since I came home from the Grove on Saturday. My fever spiked at 103 yesterday. Angelo called me around 10 last night to make sure I was okay, and my fever broke about 11pm. Today I just have no voice and am very weak. But I can move around better, and can definitely breathe better. Obviously I didn’t go to work today, and most likely won’t tomorrow.

I wish I knew where this thing came from. But it really slapped me upside the head. Enough that I actually had to take medicine, which I try to avoid.

The worst part about being home all day, is feeling like you aren’t getting anything done. I’m so tempted to do some web work or cleaning or something.

I hope you continue to get better. You could have gotten it from touching a shopping cart! Or a coworker who didn’t wash their hands… Icky. I hate the way some medicines make me feel- like I am hopped up or something. I prefer nyquil. Knocks me out, but sleep brings healing…

    Later and good luck.

Feel Better! Getting sick is the worst. I hope your dad is giving you some sympathy and taking care of you! That’s one thing I hate about growing up, no one to take care of you when you’re sick you gotta take care of yourself and everyone else!
