Random Things

March 1st 2006

I got My Son a new gold plated dog tag, but on the back I put “Lover not a fighter.” My dad laughed.

I saw a beautiful sunset last night on the way home from work. The sky was full of the beautiful pink and orange hues like normal, but somehow where the sun was going down, there was a bright orange streak almost like the smoke lines a plane would leave behind. But it was just the sunlight right up the center.

My father bought me “Walk the Line” yesterday because he knows how much Johnny Cash was an idle of mine growing up. Still is an idle, really. We watched it together last night, and it really was a great movie. It skipped a couple parts in his life I thought they might add, like when he almost died in the cave during one of his darker times, or his deep appreciation for the Native American people. Then again I suppose that was more in his later years anyway.

I got my divorce papers from legalzoom.com and boy are they confusing I’ve figured out what they are all for. Alex has an interesting knack of making me feel like an idiot for doing something, such as how I got these divorce papers, and now it’s hard to even understand them.

I got the tags to my car delivered yesterday, no more dealership hassle.

Swarm season at work starts today. And it’s supposed to warm up later this week and weekend, and of course…I get to work the first weekend of swarm season. I’d love for my next job not to have a “season.”

Thanks :) It seemed to make a lot of sense since he’s a pittbull and people tend to think of them as vicious dogs. But he’s just a lover.
