Securing Wordpress

March 19th 2006

On a separate site, not this one, I’ve been having some problems with worms getting into my files. I don’t have this problem on my journal and I use wordpress, and I checked all my permissions on the files and have all the folders CHMOD to 755 and all the files CHMOD to 644. I don’t know why I’m still having problems with worms though.

Has anyone else experienced this?

This may bide up most of my time today, blar.

Greetings! Happened upon your space and thought I’d say hello. Thought this post was the perfect place for it. Since I can’t tell what version of WP you’re using, I did notice that they’ve released 2.0.2, which supposedly is more secure. If you’re already running the new version, then I’m just not sure what to tell you. Good luck, and have a great day! :)
