Dream: Snakes

April 28th 2006

This particular dream I believe started out with me visiting Michael at a Three Cranes gathering. I believe it was at his house, and there were a lot of people there visiting (including Dax I think), all of which were having coupled sex in all the bathrooms. Three bathrooms total I believe.

I, of course, had to use the bathroom, and couldn’t. So I went outside to an old shed or tent or something and was about to unpack some things, when there was a tanglement of rattlesnakes in the corner that I didn’t notice right away. 3 of them came after me, and not just as a defensive. The first one attacked my arm pretty raw, to which I hauled ass outta there. Then the 3 proceeded to follow me into the house.

Somehow my dad enters the picture here and helps me try to catch them. I caught two, one in each hand, but the more rabid one was still coming after me, even after I jumped onto a bed. It somehow clamored onto the bed with me. At this point I had to let the two go in my hands to prevent this one from attacking me again, and I grabbed it by the neck, just behind the skull. My dad finds me a meat fork and I plunged it into the neck of the snake and found a hacksaw to chop off its head.

I don’t know what happened to the other two, because I think this is where my cat woke me up. I’m semi-amused though, since I’ve woken up to blacksnakes in the house before, and my cat attacking them and scaring them away.

This tends to be a difficult subject for several people, but was recently brought to my attention by a friend going through the same situation.
Would you Support Someone who won’t Support Themselves?
By that, I don’t mean that they “can’t” support themselves (even that can be argumentative depending on the situation), but I’m talking about blatantly […]
