Morning Glories

April 28th 2006

I’m not at work yet, I’m doing a 3-7pm shift today for my half-day instead of 9-1pm because the co-worker that despises me and sends all those nasty emails asked me to.

I’m so nice.

Slept in a bit today, did some mending, did some cleaning, enjoyed the beautiful blue sky and sunshine. I amused myself watching My Son jump down and chase the cat out of my room everytime she came in to wake me up. Granted his jumping up and down off my bed kept me awake, but it was a nice gesture on his part.

My sister is being dropped off at my work later tonight, and I’ll bring her to work with me tomorrow and then to the Grove afterwards for their Beltane ritual. Sunday we will probably spend time outside, going for a hike, planting these new blue morning glories I got.

My father got frustrated at our answering machine today. I’m trying to find the instruction booklet for him so he’s not cussing at it when he can’t figure out how to change the message. I could try and sit down to figure it out, but I think it’d be better for him to read the book than for me to try and explain it to him. It’d probably be less insulting that way.
