Sometimes work amuses me

Some of my more amusing phone conversations at work:
“Hi, I’m having an ant problem inside my house and want to schedule service.”
“We could have someone come out on such and a day”
“Would they have to come inside?”
“……..if you’re seeing ants inside, yes we would have to come inside.”
“Thank you for calling, this is Crystal, can I have the phone number to your account?”
“I’m not sure what it is.”
“You’re phone number?”
“Yeah I never call myself.”

People are great sometimes. Our cable company had to send someone over to my house to tell me whether or not I was buying enough bandwidth to use vonage. Um, hello?
