What’s the limit on Jackassory?

May 4th 2006

So what would need to happen for you to actually make demands from a service provider? I’ve never been one to do so, so I honestly wouldn’t know.

Lets take the cable company for instance. At one point I had my internet going off and on once an hour or so for 2 weeks. They said they could have someone out in 3 weeks to do a service call. I didn’t demand they come sooner, I just figured that was the next availability.

Propane people, we’ve ran out of propane before, we’ve had gas leaks before, usually they are fairly quick about having someone out within the next week or so. But even so, I don’t think I’ve ever DEMANDED that someone come TODAY.

Pest control, never had it. I’ve had ants maybe once years and years ago. I have mice and spiders regularly, but I’d probably never pay to have someone come and put chemicals in my house. So I suppose I can’t really see how people can DEMAND having someone out TODAY because they have ants. Most ants are attracted to some sort of food in your kitchen, that’s the only thing they run around for is to eat. So obviously you’re supplying it.

So what would need to happen for you to actually literally be a jackass and DEMAND someone come out today?
