Gun Control (literally)

June 1st 2006

So while target practicing this weekend, I noticed that I am much more comfortable with a long gun than I am a hand gun. Perhaps it’s the ability to hold it more steady.

I’m still a decent shot with both. My father and his brothers used to practice a lot when they were younger. As kids all the cousins (including myself) were given BB guns and we’d practice constantly. And though my fathers eyes are failing, he can still tell I’m a better shot than he is now.

Now archery I haven’t had the ability to practice yet. But perhaps this summer will bring me the money to get myself a decent bow.
