Car Question

August 21st 2006

I’m new to this whole……taking a car to a dealership to get fixed, thing. Obviously I’ve only owned vehicles that I had to fix myself, most of which were older than I am.

I set up an appointment for the 30k checkup, and they have to do some basic stuff like rotate tires, change oil, filter, etc. I set it up for 8am, but how long does it usually take? Like I know how long it takes me to do those things on my broncos, but I figure at a dealership they usually have a line or protocol they follow.

Do I leave the car there? Do they do it while I wait? If I leave it here, am I spose to find a ride to work?

Just call and ask them, how long they figure it’s going to take. When I take my car in, it’s usually about 45 minutes.. give or take. If you need to leave it there, they should be providing some sort of courtesy van.. that will take you and bring you back from work.
