Autumn and Organic Toothpaste
A lot of people have come out of the webwork lately. A friend I haven’t talked to in about 3 years or more, stopped by the MUD today to say hi. Another guy I used to game (WW mostly) with almost 7 years ago sent me an IM out of the blue to my old Screen Name today. Makes me want to try and get ahold of some of my old RPG buddies. I suprisingly still keep in touch with a lot of them.
I’ve been finding my drives to work in the morning more and more meaningful. Morning time seems to be the “happiest” time of day (besides the moment where I get to go home from work), and always seems the most motivated and inspired. Such as noticing that my favorite part of Autumn is when the leaves on the trees start to look like fire. I don’t mean when they just turn orange, but those trees that have the leaves that are bright yellow with tips that are fiery red, they literally look like they are on fire.
I also tend to wish I had left work an hour earlier so I can take my time stopping along the road to snap photographs of various things on the way in, since morning tends to find the most beautiful situations for photos. Such as the single tractor in the middle of the hay field this morning, or the spray of leaves over the wood-covered road, or the wooden fence posts that were half knocked down along the road.
A small herd of young children in Libertytown were waiting along the road to catch their bus this morning. They kept making motions for the cars that go by to honk their horns, but nobody would, so I decided to. Their cheers of glee made me smile and remember how much -I- used to try to get people to beep their horns when I was a kid too. It also reminds me how much I do want to have children some day, even if that seems like such a far off dream.
I also started using Kiss my Face organic toothpaste about 3 months ago. I notice when I used big brand toothpaste, it tends to upset my stomach in the morning, and anything you drink or eat afterwards tasted really funky. However with the organic stuff, I actually love the taste of it (like minty dirt or something, it’s weird :P), it doesn’t make anything taste weird, and it doesn’t upset my stomach. It also doesn’t have fluoride, which I think is mainly what causes me all the problems.

I miss the northeastern autumns. i would love to see photos of fiery leaves. If you ever do end up in montana, lol, go to the west to hide; they have trees there.
We used to try to get semi’s to honk at us as kids. simple pleasures.
where do you find the toothpaste, btw?

I usually buy it off of drugstore.com, but I also get organic shampoo off of mothernature.com
