Hee Haw

January 1st 2007

There’s something to be said for watching Hee Haw reruns over and over while you wait for midnight.

Watching an episode with Johnny Cash now. Gotta love the Hee Haw.

I’ve mostly been lounging around the house with this lingering sickness. I have a new layout almost ready for the journal, after a year and a half with the same one. Should hopefully be up sometime tomorrow to symbolize the new year.

My dad went to a family holiday get-together on Friday, and came home with oodles of presents for me from my family, especially my cousin Cindy. I kinda felt bad cause we didn’t get them nowhere near as much, but I’m very happy with everything I got. Beautiful warm blanket, some flour to make banana bread, some pumpkin spice candles, some chocolates.

It’s nice being in touch with my cousin again after over a decade of never seeing each other. I’m gonna invite her up for some homemade chicken and dumplings sometime in January.
