Reply to the House Offer

April 10th 2008

I received a reply to my offer on the house from the lawyer (I only called them Tuesday, so this is pretty quick). Actually I felt the letter they sent was somewhat condescending and meant to be intimidating. They say they can go no lower than $175k after my offer of $100k for the property. I’m preparing a letter to offer $150k for the property, because they are silly in the head to think that it’s worth anymore than that with the condition that the house is in. I made it a point to note two of the larger concerns with the property, but I’m really not trying to be a dick about it. I just don’t appreciate nor will I accept trying to be bullied by a group of lawyers out for money. Fortunately the nephew of the estate is still pretty understanding, it’s just he apparently doesn’t have much power over the estate as a whole.

I may start looking/asking around about getting a mortgage and see what kind of rate I am looking at (any connections here would be much appreciated).

Seems the games have begun.

Retro Post: Natural Egg Dyes

Last April I posted about different natural ways to make Natural Egg Dyes.
I have updated the same post with an idea I saw on Rosminah’s journal about adding beautiful leaf designs to your eggs.
