Political Confusion

September 3rd 2008

This Lieberman guy talks about how we can’t trust Obama because he’s so new and inexperienced. Despite the fact that they have a new VP who is also new and inexperienced with her panties in a wad, what’s so bad about inexperience? We all have inexperience usually when we start a new job, and we learn as the job requires us to learn. Often-times making us better employees than our predecessors.

To be honest I’m kinda excited about having fresh blood as a president. Moldable clay rather than hardened statue, in a way.

Course Kat and I dealt with this when we were running for President and Vice President of the Grove. Accusations of inexperience on both our ends, but our winning our positions was probably one of the best things to happen at the Grove.

I read over the things that Lieberman says in these articles at this Republican rally, and I almost feel like everything they are cheering and jeering about is everything I don’t like. Almost down to the letter. “More money for the war in Iraq, anti-choice, pro-bush, support McCain because he served in the war and was a POW (how tf does that make him a better candidate, that’s just his unfortunate past, not a status on his resume), not to mention saying we’re winning the war”.

I’ve really never ever cared or been interested in politics before. But this one is making my brain go “wtf”.
