Cleaning while sick
May 26th 2007
Another salt and sun treatment
Scrubbed bathtub with baking soda and vinegar
Scrubbed toilet and sink with lemon spray, soy bowl cleaner, and organic toilet brush made from coconut fibers
Boiled devilled eggs
Set up Grove shop on Zazzle (still need to create some custom images)
Dishes
Make my famous devilled eggs
Work on the MUD
Vaccuum and straighten up living room
The cough is subsiding and being replaced with general stuffyness. I sound ridiculous, but I can function (and apparently clean), just not smell a damn thing.
A shipment of 30 more chickens came in for us today. We get them in the spring so that they are suitable for laying eggs regularly come the holiday season (our busy season). And then we’ll auction off the older chickens at the livestock auction.
I’ve also signed up for an electric orange checking account with ING to go along with the awesome savings I’ve had since August. I plan to start using this starting in June, and getting rid of all but my BB&T checking account. This is just another step in the ladder to my own financial freedom since I left my husband. Next month I qualify for my jobs 401k and I will be starting my Roth IRA with either ING or T.Rowe Price.
I have a cookout with all my highschool friends tomorrow, as well as time spent at the Grove.
And I should have my laptop next week.
Lotsa small updates.

Playboy
May 23rd 2007
I’m amused that the June issue of Playboy has arrived under my ex-husbands name.
Mistake?
Did he renew a subscription without updating his address?
Surprisingly there is not as much nudity as I would have thought. I may read the articles for my own amusement.

February 26th 2007
This link is interesting because it allows you to input your age, and see what other people have accomplished at that age. You’re never to old, or to young, to accomplish your goals.

Choosing a Credit Card
February 17th 2007
An article on Sound Money Tips reads:
LowCards.com is a great online resource to compare your current rate and rewards with other cards. It’s also a good resource for comparing offers you receive in the mail. It ranks and reviews credit cards and explains the fees and terms found in the fine print.
They have also posted a useful Guide to Credit Cards. Though I personally don’t intend to, nor have I ever been that involved with my credit cards. I rarely use them, and never have big balances. I like to keep my credit cards manageable, and resist the temptation for large purchases unless I already have the money in my checking account.
